Foxton 1-4 West Wratting
Foxton had a tough game at home this week against a very direct West Wratting side and ultimately came out the wrong side of a 4-1 score line.
Foxton were doing okay and managed to take a 1-0 lead into halftime courtesy of Itch’s brilliant chip from a half cleared corner.
The visitors equalised about 10 minutes into the second half with a well taken lob.
The visitors then without doubt should have been reduced to ten men, when Charlie Bryan was through one on one, only to be hauled down from behind. But somehow the referee only issued a yellow card much to the amazement of most people watching.
This decision caused mayhem for Foxton, who in truth, lost all discipline and unfortunately then conceded three quick goals to put the tie beyond their reach.
