Foxton 4-0 St Neots Town Res

Foxton picked up a convincing 4-0 win at home against St Neots Res on Saturday.

The first half was a decent affair with Foxton taking a one goal lead to half time. The goal coming courtesy of Josh Sewell, who finished from close range from Gwynnies free kick.

Foxton also spurned a host of other decent chances to give themselves a bigger lead. At the other end, Fraser made a good save to keep Foxton in front.

The second half was pretty one way with Foxton dominating proceedings, although, Fraser again made a great save with score still at 1-0.

St Neots had a man sent off early in the half for a reckless tackle. This obviously gave Foxton a numerical advantage and they really made it count with waves of good attacks.

The second goal came from Eliot who headed home Josh’s cross. Itch then got the third with a sublime finish from the edge of the box after Eliot had picked him out. Jez then rounded up the scoring after he slotted home well from Itch’s through ball.

MOM….Jez McMurrough.
