Foxton 0-2 Eynesbury United

Foxtons run of poor form continued on Saturday, with a very lacklustre performance against a good Eyensbury side, with the visitors picking up a deserved 2-0 win.

Foxton started fairly brightly, but unfortunately, this didn’t last long. The half was fairly even, but, on 30 minutes, the visitors took the lead after an error from Ada gifted them an opening that was cleverly tucked away. Foxton then had a chance with Jez, who had a good shot saved just before half time.

The second half didn’t get much get better for Foxton and the visitors deservedly doubled their lead in controversial circumstances….. the less said the better….. but from the writers angle it looked fine.

Foxton huffed and puffed but just couldn’t muster anything, and the game ended 2-0 to the visitors.
